YOUR OPTIONS

How it works?

  • We receive your enquiry and introduce you to our company, discuss your requirements, provide information on the services we can offer you and outline an approximate cost.

  • We arrange for one of our clinical assessors to visit you at home where they undertake a care and risk assessment, discuss your individual requirements and provisionally agree the level of support and care you require.

  • We prepare and cost your individually tailored personal care plan then arrange another visit with you to finalise your care plan with you and your family.

  • We identify a suitable member of our staff to support you in line with your personal care plan and arrange for you to meet them to ensure your needs will be met and you are happy and comfortable with your carer.

Your options explained

Direct Payment Scheme
A Direct Payment is a mechanism that allows you to have more choice and control over the support you receive. Direct Payments can be broken down in to what are called options.

Option 1 Direct Payment
A payment made directly to you to be spent on fulfilling your package of care however you see fit.

Option 2 Individual service Fund
This again gives you more control and flexibility over your package of care allowing you to choose your provider and the level of support you would like, while the local authority holds your budget and makes this arrangement on your behalf.

Option 3 Direct Service
Option 3 funding is where your level of care is assessed by your local social work department or hospital to home team. Under this option you are allocated an approved provider from the national framework and your package of care is implemented and overseen by your local authority.

Private Care
Whether it’s a small top up to compliment your agreed package of Social Work funded care or a full time Care At Home package - a cost effective alternative to full time residential or nursing home admission, we can help.
